Àárọ́ is our echo of Yoruba reciprocity—a traditional system of shared labour and mutual aid. We carry its spirit forward as a voluntary, communal circulation pot rooted in care.
How it works
We operate on a seasonal rotation. The pot remains open until it reaches its threshold. Once met, the funds are redistributed to the current recipient in the queue, and the circle moves to the next person. We wait our turn knowing that the cycle is constant.
What it supports
ÀÁRỌ́ directs resources toward individuals, artisans, organisations and initiatives aligned with culture and community care. We practice transparency by naming recipients and sharing the redistribution journey.
We share because taking alone is not enough.
